Terms of service
Please read a familiarise yourself with these terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure that your dog can have the most enjoyable experience whilst in my care.
FLEAS & TICKS
Please do tell me upon arrival if you suspect that your dog may have fleas. This will enable me to get them straight into the bath with the appropriate shampoo. There will be a surcharge for this.
MATT REMOVAL
Pets with matted coats require extra care and attention during their grooming session. This will result in an extra fee. Any matting that is severe and cannot be removed without causing distress will result in your dog having to be clipped short. This is in the best interests of their welfare and will be discussed with you prior to completion. Heavy matting can cause skin irritation/soreness and your pet may feel strange for a few days post groom. This is nothing to be concerned about and should pass. I will not be held liable to any skin irritation/ soreness caused due to matting.
APPOINTMENT TIMES/ CANCELLATIONS
If you find you are running late for your appointment please call as soon as possible to let us know, any arrival later than 15 minutes may have to be rescheduled or a smaller groom discussed to meet time constraints.
Please give at least 24hrs notice if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. I understand that sometimes emergency situations do arise and I will work with you if this is the case to reschedule.
In some circumstances your appointment may have to be re-arranged, I will endeavour to give as much notice of this as possible.
MISSED APPOINTMENT/NO SHOW FEES
If you miss your appointment or fail to cancel with the minimum 24 hours notice you will incur a missed appointment fee of half the cost of the missed groom. If this happens on more than one occasion a non-refundable holding fee of £20 will be required to secure any future bookings.
BITCH IN SEASON
If you realise prior to a groom that your bitch has come into season you must contact me to discuss if your booked appointment is suitable for her to come in. It is understandably distracting for any male dogs I may have in the building after her, and your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
